I’ve always felt at home in the outdoors. Whether I’m fly fishing, snowboarding, or camping with my kid, being outside grounds me — and that connection to the land is a big part of why I started Open Space Solutions.

With a professional background in landscape management and certifications in the field, I’ve spent years learning how to design and care for functional outdoor spaces. But I didn’t just want to work for someone else’s company forever. As a single father living in Colorado, I wanted to build something of my own — a business rooted in hard work, practicality, and purpose.

Open Space Solutions was born from the idea that landscapes don’t need to be over complicated or overpriced to be beautiful and effective. I focus on affordable, low-maintenance solutions that actually work for the people who live in them. I also take seriously the need for defensible space — creating open, fire-wise areas that help protect homes and families in a state where wildfires are a real threat.  And in the process, not just create clients — but build relationships.
